Buffy Playbus is a Registered Charity, we rely on donations, grants and our own fund raising efforts to provide the mobile playgroup to 15 communities throughout Uttlesford. If you feel that you can help to support us in any way, either by volunteering on the bus, helping at one of our fund raising events or by becoming a a committee member or trustee, please contact us today.

We have received a donation from Uttlesford Jubilee Fund which has enabled us to buy lots of new toys and equipment for our Playbus, we are very grateful to this fund for their support.

Buffy Playbus provides pre-school children with an opportunity to play, socialise and have fun in comfortable and safe surroundings under the guidance of qualified playleaders.  Mums, Dads and carers can relax and make new friends within their own communities or just "chill out".

Children from Rickling Primary School visited us

We held a very successful Quiz evening recently in Sewards End Village Hall and raised nearly £1300 towards the running costs of our Playbus. Special thanks to everyone concerned especially Margaret Shaw and Catherine Fenn Smith our very able Quiz masters plus our fund raising committee who provided an excellent Chilli Con Carne using meat donated by Burtons Butchers, Saffron Walden. We would also like to give special thanks to Saffron Diamonds without whose help, we could not have run such an excellent event.  We are very grateful to the many local businesses in Saffron Walden who donated raffle prizes.
Thank you we appreciate everyone's support.

Thanks to a recent donation from Essex Community Foundation through their links with the Crix Charitable fund, Thomas and Evelyn Gepp Charitable Fund and the Essex Millennium Fund, we are able to offer a regular cooking activity on-board Buffy.

We make a variety of delicious healthy recipes like Fresh Fruity Flapjacks, Savoury Wraps and Olive Bread Rolls. Just check on-board Buffy for our next Cooking activity week. No need to book just turn up. The sessions are most suitable for children over the age of 2 years.

Fantastic news!... We have been successful in our bid for funding from Reaching Communities Big Lottery Fund and have been awarded £164,774 over the next five years. This will enable us to sustain and develop our play sessions, we will be able to offer more cooking activities, visit more communities and build on our links to organizations who help families with disabilities.

Our Playbus has recently received donations from The Andre Young Loving Life Legacy, Essex Community Foundation, Dunmow Rotary Club, Haverhill Town Council, Dunmow Town Council, Birchanger Buddies, Dunmow Flitch Trials, Garfield Weston, The Crown House - Great Chesterford, Kelly Family Trust, Saffron Walden Rotary Club and Newport Girls Go Out. We are very grateful to everyone who supports us.

Buffy Playbus has been selected to receive funding from the Co-op Local Community Fund. It means that we will get a contribution towards running our Playbus, But we need your help.

The more support we get, the more funding we could receive. So if you're a Co-op Member log in to your Co-op Membership account and choose us. If you're not a member, please join and support us!’

Every time you shop at the Co-op and choose Buffy Playbus we will receive a boost to our funds.

Thank you
